Demographic: ages 12 – 40, both casual and hardcore gamers, fans of First Person Shooters and PvP.
Intended length of game: 30 min to an hour long matches.
Platforms: PC, XBOX ONE, PS4
A competitive FPS MOBA that pits 1v1, 3v3, 5v5, and 6v6 in an arena environment.
Backstory: In a utopian society with excess resources and TIME TO KILL, two companies, Unicore and Ly-ion, banded together to create a new form of entertainment. By combining state of the art robots with Hi-Tech virtual reality software and guns, they were able to create a gladiator styled arena sport for the masses. Now you play as one of the selected robot controllers whose goal is to be the best around.
User experience: The player will be able to move around the map by running, sprinting, and jumping. When the player dies they will respawn at their base after a few seconds. Winning conditions would include pushing into your enemy’s base and blowing it up. Losing conditions would be if the enemy pushes into your base and blows it up. The player will need to push his/her minions by killing the enemy minions, when the minions are pushed far enough, a special bomb minion will spawn at your base that you must escort into the enemy base which will then prime and detonate thus triggering the winning condition while simultaneously trying to stop your enemy from doing the same to you.
See attached photos/sketches.
We will need a few 3d models (players, minions, weapons), some ambient audio sound effects, 2d materials, weapon sound effects, and player sound effects (footsteps, death rattles, gears grinding)
Our game would probably cost around ~$270k. Marketing ~50k, 3 employees @ $60k= ~180k, Assets ~5k-10k (Need to make it look/sound good), Business expenses = ~30k (software/hardware licenses, office space, internet, etc)
